Universal Urethane originated in Huntington Beach, Calif., in 1984 under the name California Urethane. As the company grew, it needed to move facilities to Corona, Calif., in 1989 and then to North Las Vegas, Nev., in 1993. The company services the automotive, fitness, spa, medical and gaming industries with molded urethane products. The company provides a variety of products, including more than 500 different hydrotherapy products, such as the hydrotherapy headrest; automotive interior padded products, such as dashboards, door panels, armrests, weather strip kits and seat foam; physical fitness padding equipment, including lumbar pads, thigh pads, abdominal pads, headrests, benches, seat pads and back pads; and protective padding products. It also offers a variety of services to its customers that consist of in-house tooling, insert fabrication capabilities and production capabilities. Universal Urethane s production facility has more than 15 urethane processing machines.
