Nevada State College, established in 2002, offers four-year educational programs to students. The college provides baccalaureate degrees in various subjects, including biology, business, economics, English, environmental science, history, integrated studies, mathematics, nursing, psychology and public administration. It also offers programs in law enforcement, speech pathology, teacher preparation, and visual media that include digital film, special effects, computer animation, and video game development. The services offered to the students include residential and dining facilities, career counseling, health care, computer laboratories with Internet access, and transportation services. The college is administered by the Nevada System of Higher Education, and has an enrollment of more than 10,000 students. Nevada State College is located in Henderson, Nev.
