Founded in 1990, the Cardiovascular Surgery of Southern Nevada specializes in conducting a range of surgeries in areas related to cardiac, thoracic and vascular diseases. It is comprised of more than five physicians who handle acute cardiac emergencies. The facility handles heart problems, such as coronary artery bypass, including vein and arterial conduits, aortic, mitral and tricuspid valve repair and replacement, heart tumors and adult congenital abnormalities. The Cardiovascular Surgery of Southern Nevada also handles lung- and esophagus-related problems, including Surgery for cancer, infection and benign lesions. It additionally undertakes cases related to renal and visceral artery obstruction, carotid disease and lower extremity vascular problems. The facility is located in Las Vegas.
