Coal-fire flavor and fresh, hard-to-find-elsewhere ingredients. That's Pitch Pizzeria in Omaha's historic Dundee. Unless you've been to the Northeast or Naples recently you probably haven't experienced a pizza like it. Coal-fire ovens generate 1,000 degrees of heat that produces a crisp, light crust with a distinct but slight charcoaled flavor. It's Naples, old-style cooking. Pitch your own ingredients on top or try one of our signature pizzas that blend the freshest meats and veggies with our traditional sauce. The result: an authentic pie that you won't mistake for any other. Coal fire is rooted in Naples but is growing in popularity across the U.S. Now, it's landed in Omaha as Pitch Pizzeria, courtesy of Willy Theisen. A longtime restaurateur, Theisen introduced Godfather's Pizza to Nebraska in 1974. Pitch Pizzeria is his latest venture. With it, he is again helping reshape and reinvent the restaurant landscape in Omaha. This time, with a slice of heaven from Italy.
