Established in 1947, Cedars Youth Services is one of the largest child care organizations in Nebraska. It helps children who have been abused and neglected and are homeless in achieving safety, stability and enduring family relationships. The organization offers various services, including emergency shelters and residential care, residential mental health treatment, foster care, family preservation, counseling, juvenile justice, early childhood development and school age programs, and rural services. The organization is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Council on Accreditation.
