United Farmers Cooperative is one of the largest farm cooperatives that serves more than 11,000 voting and non-voting members in over 20 counties in Nebraska and Kansas. It oversees a professional staff of nearly 200 full-time employees. The cooperative operates through grain, agronomy, seed, feed and energy divisions. United Farmers Cooperative s grain division is responsible for coordinating logistics, asset planning, and setting and administrating grain policy, as well as managing direct reports that include grain accounting and origination personnel. Its agronomy division offers a variety of products, such as agricultural chemicals, lime, and liquid and dry fertilizers. The cooperative provides custom application, seed treating, and grid and conventional soil sampling services. In addition, United Farmers Cooperative maintains a credit division that offers direct debit and online bill pay services.
