HistoryThe owner grew up in the auto & truck parts business, working for his dad. He loved big trucks & decided to specialize in them. He started on his own here in Kearney, March of 1984. To begin with he had the salvage yard, offering used parts, new parts and rebuilt transmissions and differentials. He had his tough times starting out. Some older guys gave him guff, thinking he didn't really know much about their trucks. But He had skill and a solid knowledge base to start with. Eventually those guys got to know him and respect him. He added selling trucks a little later on, to benefit his customers. Trying to locate the kinds of truck they might need or would ask him to find. Now days it's nice to have a guy call, from a few years ago, knowing we did a good job for him and treated him right. People trust Dave and know him for his knowledge of big trucks and his work. Return customers are a big part of this business.
