Bellevue East High School is a public school serving students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,300 students and is part of the Bellevue Public School District. The school colors are purple and silver and its mascot is the Chieftain. Formerly known as Bellevue Senior High School, it offers classes in English, social studies, aerospace science, business and physical education, art, industrial technology, communications, math, information technology, world languages and family and consumer science. The school has athletic teams in several sports, including basketball, baseball, wrestling, cross country, football, softball, volleyball, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis and track and field. It also offers various clubs, such as debate and forensics, French and book club, National Honor Society, dance, music and book club. Bellevue East High School is located in Bellevue, Neb.
