Applied Information Management Institute is a nonprofit membership organization formed by a consortium of business, education and government entities. It supports and promotes business growth related to information technology by coordinating resources provided by its educational, governmental and private business partners. The institute focuses on emerging technologies and facilitates changes and improvements necessary to meet the IT needs of Nebraska businesses and their employees. AIM receives fundings from the state, federal and private granting agencies and corporate members. AIM organizes award ceremonies, conferences, workshops, seminars and other events. It is based in Omaha, Neb.
