History
Opened as a single occupancy Guest House, or Bed and Breakfast, after a complete remodel in 2003. This was originally the residence of the proprietor for the Eighth Avenue Store, an early 20th Century Neighborhood Grocery most likely patronized by a young Gary Cooper and Myrna Loy, who both grew up in the neighborhood before moving off to Hollywood along with many other areal notables. The buildings were moved to this location about 1904, possibly from Canton Montana, a nearby stage stop that had been flooded by the first Canyon Ferry Electric Generating Dam, and, as such, is suspected of originally having been either a way station, or brothel.
