History
The Rich's Montana Guest Ranch (Rich Ranch) was started by Jack & Belinda Rich in 1995. Jack is a fifth generation Montanan and a second generation outfitter and guest ranch owner. The first members of the Rich family arrived in Montana by wagon train in 1964. Dr. Hunter and his family left the east after the civil war looking towards the west for a new life. The Rich's made their living with horses and mules through the generations operating stage coach lines and mule trains on supply runs from Montana to Utah. Then ranching and farming and working the stock in the silver mines in eastern Montana. Today horses and mules are still the center of our business and our true passion.
