Founded in 1874 by the Sisters of Charity of Providence, St. Joseph Elementary School enrolls more than 290 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The Catholic school s curriculum includes science, language arts, math, social studies, music, Spanish, and religion and physical education. It offers a range of spots activities, such as volleyball and track and field. In addition, St. Joseph Elementary School maintains a library that houses a variety of books and study materials. The school administers an early education program. It provides guidance counseling services and conducts parent-teacher conferences. St. Joseph Elementary School focuses on spiritual, intellectual and social development. The school is a part of Missoula Catholic Schools.
