The Flathead Food Bank is continually growing to meet the needs of the Flathead Valley.
Specialties
The Flathead Food Bank is a charitable nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide temporary, emergency food assistance to those in need. We operate five food distribution pantries around the Flathead Valley (Kalispell, Evergreen, Bigfork, Marion, and Martin City), a home delivery food program for low income seniors, a program for five year olds, a backpack program for school children, and holiday dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our goals are to consistently serve high quality nutritious food, maintain the dignity of all food recipients, work with other agencies to meet the needs of individuals in need, and to provide a final safety net for urgent needs that are outside the guidelines of other agencies. The Flathead Food Bank created Second Helpings Thrift Store to provide sustainability for our programs. Our needs are urgent and ongoing and we would love your involvement as a donor, volunteer, newsletter recipient, and/or customer. Thanks for your support!
