Ron Gammon started Gammon Equipment Company Inc in 1962 in Springfield, MO. He started the company selling industrial supplies. In 1963 the Yale forklift line was added. This relationship has stood the test of time as the company represents Yale in all of our locations today.In 2010 the Hyster forklift line was awarded to Gammon Equipment serving Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.The company remains family owned and operated. Greg Gammon has served as president since 2000 and his sister, Libby Dunn, is also active in the business. With six locations in Missouri and Arkansas the company is large enough to fulfill customer needs with respect to ; inventory, a full line of material handling products, and rental equipment. However, the company remains small enough that the ownership is involved in all aspects of the day to day operations.
