History
The Tax Whistleblower Law Firm began practice in 2007. Its founder, Thomas Pliske, has written many articles and spoken before many groups with respect to the IRS tax whistleblower program. He has spoken at two public hearings on proposed treasury regulations with respect to this new area of law. The firm has worked with hundreds of whistleblowers and submitted hundreds of claims to the IRS. The total amount of the claims submitted is in the billions and billions of dollars. The firm currently has approximately one third of all whistleblower cases on appeal before the U.S. Tax Court. Many of these whistleblower cases were filed to simply create new law as well as to gain experience in this new area of litigation. We have worked with Senate subcommittees and reporters as might be necessary to promote our client's claims. The Tax Whistleblower Law Firm currently remains one of the few, if not the only, law firm that dedicates its practice full time to this area of the law.
