Melissa and her husband always loved getting personalized gifts when each of their children were born. In 2002, they were approached with an with an opportunity to purchase the wood crafting facility where their favorite baby gift, the name puzzle stool, was made. . During the year that they owned it, they developed a website to sell the wooden puzzles, stools and coat racks. In January 2003, they decided to sell the manufacturing facility. Excited about the personalized baby gift business and realizeing the future of ecommerce; they conceived the concept of StorkGifts. A website was developed to carry not only the original items that they had previously manufactured, but they expanded the offering of personalized baby gifts. Over the years, StorkGifts has grown significantly. The company has numerous long time customers. StorkGifts now offers nearly 100 different personalized baby and kids gifts.
