The State of Missouri Conservation Department location manages hunting, trapping, fishing, water services and more. This location also serves as the office address for the state employees who maintain and manage Rockwoods Reservation, a 1,880-acre wildwood and forest conservation area originally preserved in 1938. Rockwoods Reservation features picnic areas, a pavilion, hiking trails, viewing blind, and a permanent stream called Hamilton Creek. The area also has a Conservation Education Center. Please see a separate Patch directory listing for a complete overview of Rockwoods Reservation.
