Founded in 1907, St. Vincent High School is an educational institution that provides academic programs to more than 330 students in grades 7 through 12. It conducts classes in reading, writing, physical education, music, computer applications, math, science, English, social studies, art, language arts and Spanish. The school offers a range of sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, softball, basketball, baseball, golf, cheerleading and football. It operates a parent-teacher organization that encourages parental involvement in children s education, as well as organizes several fundraising events and seminars. The school additionally maintains a guidance counseling department that offers information on scholarship opportunities, graduation requirements and career planning. It is a part of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, which provides educational and spiritual services. St. Vincent High School is located in Perryville, Mo.
