The Kirkwood Police Department consists of 58 commissioned police officers, 11 full-time civilians and 8 part-time civilians. Kirkwood police divide the city into four districts, and a team of 24 officers constantly patrol each district. The department also is committed to educating residents about public safety through programs such as Neighborhood Watch and the Business Crime Watch. Residents can report an incident at the police department anytime day or night, and will be greeted by friendly and responsive staff. Those visiting the police department can park at City Hall, located next to the police station.
