History
St. Augustine's was originally founded as a mission parish in 1882 by the Rev'd Charles Cummings to serve African American Episcopalians in Kansas City. Our original location was at 10th and Troost. In 1950, the Church moved to the Santa Fe Place Neighborhood where our historic Parish House and Parish Church remain to this day.
