The Patterson Preschool approach to early childhood education encourages learning through play. Its curriculum is designed to enhance learning and development through hands-on activities in areas such as language arts, reading, math, science, visual and performing arts and social skills. Patterson has before- and after-school programs for elementary and middle-school students through age 12, which includes round-trip transportation. Summer activity programs are also available. Established in 1961, Patterson was the first preschool in St. Charles.
