Located in Florissant, Mo., North Technical High School is one of two technical education high schools operated by the Special School District. Founded in 1968, the school serves more than 500 full-day students and over 600 half-day students in grades 10 through 12. It offers a wide range of technical programs that include automotive collision repair technology, carpentry, commercial art, cosmetology, culinary arts, electrical trades, early childhood careers, and domestic preparedness and security. The school also provides various other programs, such as electronics and robotics engineering, engineering drawing, financial services, firefighting, general construction trades, health sciences, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and travel and tourism.
