Established in 2000, The Missouri Foundation for Health works to improve the health of people in more than 80 counties in Missouri. The foundation identifies and addresses the unmet health care needs of underserved population. It operates the Healthy & Active Communities program, which provides funding for community-based organizations helping people at the risk of developing obesity.
