Matteson Square Gardens is a big multi-sports facility that "caters to kids" with indoor soccer, inline hockey and batting cages. The facility has roller hockey leagues for adults and children, including the Youth "Skilz" league taught by Rick Matteson, winner of many national roller hockey championships who is the head coach at Wentzville High School and a former coach at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. There are soccer leagues for adults - men, women and coed - and youth leagues for children in kindergarten through high school. Futsal, a variation of soccer played indoors with five players on a smaller field, is also available. The facility also manages tournaments and offers birthday parties for kids.
