Maplecrest Elementary School was built in 1950 and enrolls more than 600 students in grades two and three. It provides art, music, physical education, writing and Title I reading programs. The school offers health, food and transportation services. It also offers special educational classes for children with special needs, such as learning disabilities and hearing and visual impairment. Additionally, the school provides various supplies to students, which include crayons, pencils, glue sticks, facial tissue boxes and scissors. The school s library has a collection of more than 9,400 different titles and 11,000 copies. It also offers an online list of accelerated reader quizzes. Additionally, the school operates the Lebanon Area Parents as Teachers program for all parents with children from prenatal through 5 years of age. The elementary school is located in Lebanon, Mo.
