The Fenton Historical Society is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and displaying Fenton's long history. The group saved the 1906 Swantner House from demolition, rehabilitating it and filling it with memorabilia and remnants of Fenton's past. It is one of the oldest buildings in Fenton, and now acts as a historical museum. The society also maintains an archive that tells Fenton's story, as well as the stories of various people, places and groups.
