Ditzfeld Transfer has grown into one of the Midwest s leading transportation, warehouse and distribution service providers. Founded by John and Bernice Ditzfeld, Ditzfeld Transfer began in the 1960s with two straight trucks performing local tasks for customers and less-than-load carriers in the Sedalia, Mo., area. In 1968, the first tractor trailer rig was purchased. Over the next 30 years the family continued to build their trucking operation to include more than 30 OTR rigs. In 1997 the warehousing division of Ditzfeld was formed with the purchase of a 50,000-square-foot warehouse facility. Today, the company manages a more than 800,000-square-foot warehousing operation and a transportation operation with more than 50 power units and 160 trailers. Services include dedicated, dry van, refrigerated, tanker and shuttle transportation. Ditzfeld Transfer is located in Sedalia.
