HistorySisters, Molly and Carrie, owned Phoenix Rising in the University City Loop for over 15 year. About six years ago they started to carry a few unique gifts for babies. A few gifts turned into a shelf, which turned into a whole wall, which turned into it's own store. In 2005 City Sprouts was born across the street from the still thriving Phoenix Rising. It grew strong making it a staple in Baby Gifts in St. Louis. In August of 2009, the small shop was busting at the seems and expanded into it's current home at 6303 Delmar Boulevard.
