Farmington Children's Home is a program of Presbyterian Children's Services that provides therapeutic, social, psychological and educational services to children and their families. Founded in 1914, the center offers services for males and females between the ages of 12 and 18 years. Its services are appropriate for children with DSM-IV diagnosis with moderate to severe intensity, children unable to cope with less restrictive alternatives, psychiatric diversion children or in need of maintenance, court ordered goal of socialization, conduct disorder children, and depressed children. Located in Farmington, Mo., the center also provides alternative care for Level 4 intensive needs. Farmington Children's Home is funded by gifts from individuals, and through Children's Foundation of Mid-America.
