History
The shelter arose out of a desire to find homes for healthy dogs who were to be euthanized at a large public shelter. The number grew so high we couldn't not continue to take them all. Our focus then changed to rescuing abandoned, abused & neglected pets.
Specialties
We are a private, nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter, continuously serving the neediest homeless pets in Mid MO for over 30 yrs. Many of the animals we take in are ones other shelters don't accept due to injury, illness, age, etc.
