Established in 1963, Abilities Unlimited is a private nonprofit rehabilitation facility serving physically challenged youth. Its comprehensive facility has seven locations and offers more than 15 programs, including evaluation, work adjustment training and extended services. It also provides special services and training for maximizing the individual's vocational, educational, personal, and social functioning. Abilities Unlimited is certified and licensed by Arkansas Rehabilitation Services and Developmental Disability Services. It provides alternative community services program funded through Medicaid for people with developmental disabilities. Its residential supported living program offers modified living services and related training supports to individuals with mental disability. Abilities Unlimited provides management and placement services, including case management, employment readiness assessment, resume and employment assistance. It also offers vocational, educational and problem-solving, therapy, job analysis, reasonable accommodation and job site modification services. It is located in Jonesboro, Ark.
