The Aikido Institute of Mid-America (AIMA) is a renowned Aikido Dojo located in Maplewood, Missouri. Established in 1986, it is the second oldest Aikido Dojo in the greater St. Louis Area and has been serving the community since its inception. AIMA offers a comprehensive program in Aikido Arts, Philosophy, and Daily Life Applications for individuals of all skill levels and interests, promoting the development of fluidity, power, and harmony through sincere and committed practice. AIMA follows the principles of Seidokan Aikido, a balanced practice founded by Roderick T. Kobayashi Sensei in 1981. With its headquarters in Los Angeles, California, Seidokan Aikido is an international organization with dojos across the United States, Israel, and Japan.
