Washington School governs elementary, middle and high schools. Established in 1969, it is one of the first private schools in Mississippi to be accredited by the Mississippi Private School Association and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The district has an enrollment of more than 900 students and maintains a staff of over 60 individuals. Its campus is spread over an area of nearly 30 acres and includes a library, band room, media center, study hall, classrooms, administrative offices, fully equipped science and computer laboratories, and elementary, middle and high school buildings. Washington School provides classes in math, social studies, English and foreign languages through its member schools. Additionally it organizes a range of athletic tournament for girl and boy students.
