The Alcorn Career and Technology Center provides various high school and continuing education programs. It offers courses for high school students in computer systems technology, graphic arts, building trades and business management. In partnership with the vocational division of the Department of Education in Mississippi, the center conducts adult evening classes in basic Spanish, photography, landscaping, interior design and pipe welding. The Alcorn Career and Technology Center employs a career counselor who specializes in providing individual and group counseling and assist students in developing strategies for success. Its special populations staff assists students in the areas of reading, math, English and science, as well as developing communication skills. The Alcorn Career and Technology Center, a part of the Alcorn School District, is located in Corinth, Miss.
