History
Talbot House Bakery was established in 2017 as the social enterprise of Talbot House Sober Living for Women, a 501c3 nonprofit, to provide job readiness skills to women in early recovery from substance use disorder. The original bakery was housed in a commercial kitchen in East Tupelo, offering our homemade breads and cinnamon rolls on a preorder basis only. In September 2019, we moved into our beautiful current location and added the cafe part so we could provide a simple, delicious lunch menu in addition to our bakery items. We are truly grateful for our journey, and for our supportive community.
