History
Owens, originally was started by the late Ms. Annie Mae Jones. She sold dinners out of her kitchen to local factories and the community. Years later, her grandson, Dante Owens, has kept the tradition going. Serving the same dishes, same recipes, is one of the fastest growing restaurants in Clarksdale.
