Itawamba Community College, established in 1920, offers certificate programs and associate degrees in arts and science to students throughout Chickasaw, Itawamba, Lee, Monroe and Pontotoc counties in Mississippi. It offers a variety of academic courses in science, business studies, humanities, mathematics, and behavioral science and health education. The various technical courses offered by the college include automotive systems, criminal justice, engineering and industrial technology, manufacturing and truck driver training. The services offered by the college include housing and dining, financial aid, career counseling and planning, job placement and medical assistance. The amenities offered by the college include a library, media center, bookstore, basketball and volleyball courts, and an outdoor pavilion and performing center. It also has an events center that organizes basketball tournaments, graduation ceremonies and musical concerts. It is approved by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Itawamba Community College has campuses located in Tupelo and Fulton, Miss.
