Founded in 1866, Mississippi Press Association is a trade organization which represents Mississippi daily and non-daily newspapers published at least once a week with general, paid circulation. As the sixth oldest press association in the United States, Mississippi Press Association continues to be a leader in newspaper excellence across the nation. The association's business affiliate, Mississippi Press Service s, was founded in 1978. Both organizations are centrally located in Jackson, Mississippi. All newspapers listed on this site are members of Mississippi Press Association, and are represented by Mississippi Press Services.
