History

Having been established in 1908, our Donald Ross designed course is the oldest in MS and one of the 20 oldest in the US.

Specialties

Our golf course drains quickly after a rain and we can usually allow carts on the fairways when no other courses on the MS Gulfcoast can. The Great Southern Golf Course is in the best shape ever since hurricane Katrina hit [August 2006]. We offer a full service restaurant serving breakfast and lunch 364 days a year.

If I could give this cow pasture ZERO stars, that would be their rating. The owners of this golf course (sic) haven't invested a dime in this track since General Sherman played here ! Fairways...
