HistoryLarry Turberville started this business with a partner back in 1994 in Demopolis, Alabama. He wanted to grow his business after his partner sold out to him so he opened the Gautier Business location in 2003 doing just funeral grave digging and set ups with supplying of the vaults to only the Funeral Homes. He also provided the area with Plot Monuments to the customers but were produced in Demopolis, Al. at the time. In 2015, he moved his location from Gautier to Moss Point to a bigger facility. He wanted to start producing plot monuments here is Ms. so that the customers could get a better service on time. We still offer all the funeral home needs for the funeral as well as plot monuments is an expedited time frame.SpecialtiesAt Doric South, we strive to make every purchase as easy as it can be during the loss of a loved one or if you are just getting your affairs in order (pre-need). We have a large inventory here on site so that the wait time is cut by weeks. At other places, you may have to wait 6-10 weeks before you have a monument in place at the cemetery; here you may have it in place in as little as 2-3 weeks, weather permitting. We offer a wide variety of colors, shapes and sizes for the granite or marble monument. Don't let other places fool you by telling you it takes longer for colored monuments. It does not take any longer to get a gray monument as it does a black or pink monument. For anything import, it does take us about 8-12 weeks to get in because of having to come over seas and clear customs and then shipment here. We also offer single/double granite mausoleums and bronze. We also offer death date inscription on site. Ask about our grave digging to save you money from the funeral home.
