Byron graduated law school in 1987. After clerking for the Mississippi Supreme Court, he moved to Alabama. He moved back to Mississippi in 1995 to work for a large defense firm. He now practices in a sole proprietorship where he controls his client base.
Specialties
Byron Carter received his education from Mississippi State University and Mississippi College School of Law. He clerked for the Mississippi Secretary of State and the Mississippi Supreme court. He is a certified mediator for workers' compensation claims by the workers' compensation section of The Mississippi Bar. Byron is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Alabama and regularly practices before the workers' compensation commission and chancery courts in Mississippi. He has over 30 years experience in these venues. As a former board member of Kids' Chance of America, Byron continues to concentrate his practice in helping children through helping their parents.
