The Department of Agricultural & Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University provides students with opportunities to pursue careers in the fields of biomedical engineering, medicine, environmental engineering, and agriculture and natural resources. The department s faculty interacts extensively with the undergraduate and graduate students and involves them in many multidisciplinary projects. Its more than 6,000-square-foot of instructional and research facilities include separate labs for biomaterials corrosion and cell culture, environmental and agricultural studies, biomechanical testing, electronic fabrication and testing, fiber processing, global positioning system and geographic information systems and student computing resources. The department also publishes seasonal newsletters and research reports.
