HistoryOwner and head instructor Rick Faye founded the Minnesota Kali Group in 1982. MKG specializes in teaching the martial arts of Kali (the Filipino Martial Arts), Bruce Lee's Jun Fan / Jeet Kune Do (JKD), Muay Thai (Thailand's kickboxing sport), Silat, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing and Combat Submission Wrestling. Students as varied as church groups to military and law enforcement have benefitted from MKG training. One of the top instructors in the Kali, JKD family world wide, Rick's impressive reputation on the art, self-defense and law enforcement topics keep him in demand locally, nationally & internationally.
