Established in 1952, St. John the Baptist School serves more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school offers classes in science, health, religious and computer education, social studies, mathematics, English and literature. It provides athletic activities, such as soccer, wrestling, basketball and softball. St. John the Baptist School also offers before- and after-school child care programs. The school provides opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities, including band and drama. It publishes a monthly newsletter that offers information about upcoming events for parents and students. The school additionally provides a variety food items for lunch that includes chicken nuggets, vegetables, breads, sandwiches and potato chips.
