Southwest/West Central Service Cooperative offers a variety of programs and services for school, city, and county and governmental agency members. It operates special education, teaching and learning, administrative and risk management service divisions. The cooperative employs more than 7,600 teachers and serves over 51,000 students. Southwest/West Central Service Cooperative s service center in Montevideo, Minn., provides educational and support services to member school districts. The service center offers social work, school psychology, third-party billing, and occupational, physical, speech and language therapy services. It also offers early intervention services for infants and toddlers. The center provides the Health and Safety Management Assistance Program, which specializes in consulting services related to health and safety concerns for school districts. Southwest/West Central Service Cooperative also maintains its service centers in Marshall, Belview, New Ulm, Glencoe, Benson, Pipestone and Windom, Minn.
