Rajala Timber Company is a part of the Rajala Companies, which owns and cares for approximately 35,000 acres of timberland. In 1996 alone, the company planted more than 250,000 trees. The company s products include lumber, dimension, strips, cut stock, solid-edge glued panels, finger-joint strips, finger-joint panels and sliced veneers. Its hardwood species consist of aspen, black ash, basswood, white birch, hard and soft maple, and red and white oak. The company s softwood species are eastern white pine, red pine, balsam fir, jack pine and eastern spruce.
