History
In 1971, Forrest Sargent began Sargent's Landscape Nursery, Inc. on a small lot near what is now HOM Furniture. Five years later, the business moved to its present 18th Avenue NW location. Today this location, Sargent's North, is home to our business offices, landscape design, installation and maintenance team, 40 acre tree and plant nursery and north garden center. In 1985, our second retail store opened on 2nd Street SW. Then in 1992, we purchased Colours Flower Market to provide a full-service floral department from within the Sargent's on 2nd Garden Center. We are proud to be an active member of Rochester community. We look forward to assisting with your gardening, landscaping and floral needs.
