Olmsted County Public Works is one of the departments of the county of Olmsted, Minn. It is involved in a wide range of public services. It is responsible for planning, designing and constructing the physical facilities of the city, including infrastructure elements, streets, highways, water and sewage system, and public buildings. The department is involved in constructing and operating new and existing facilities, maintaining streets and roads, water reclamation, and sewer cleaning. In addition, it also provides ditch mowing, snow removal, excavation and road sealing services. The department is responsible for issuing permits for installation and repair of telephone cables, power lines, gas lines, storm and sanitary sewers, water mains, ditch grading, and culvert installation.
