History
Redemption Lutheran Church was incorporated as a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in 1955. From that time the congregation grew as the community of Bloomington also grew around us. From shortly after the the church building was built, until just a few years ago the church had also incorporated a school in many forms, starting from only a preschool to offering preschool through high school in association with other churches in Bloomington and Richfield. The congregation itself is made up of many original members and their continued generations of children, as well as many others that have been drawn to the area and the warm family feel of the congregation itself.
