The Minnesota Occupational Safety & Health Administration Compliance works to improve workplace conditions for the citizens of Minnesota. The division conducts workplace inspections and investigates the cause of work-related accidents. It handles employee complaints related to workers' compensation claims and unsafe and unhealthy working conditions. Through several employer assistance programs, the Minnesota Occupational Safety & Health Administration helps employers to prevent accidents and diseases. The division handles cases regarding wage and age discrimination, as well as provides consulting services to private and public sector employees. It is a part of the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. The Minnesota Occupational Safety & Health Administration Compliance maintains an office in St. Paul.
